Chairman’s Report – Ken Weir

Outside forces combined with propaganda from a more than willing media are attempting to create divisions within the Republican Party. Nonstop attention given to minor political opinions in an attempt to divide us should be ignored. We must focus on the political values that have and still unite us. I want to re-emphasize our party’s values as we come together for this upcoming Recall Election.

We the Republican Party

The party of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and Lincoln. The party that knows and understands the role of the government is to protect our God-given inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Therefore, we re-affirm the constitutional principles of limited government, separation of powers, individual liberty, and the rule of law.

Restoring the American Dreams

We are the party of growing the economy, creating new jobs, limiting debt, and watchdogs of taxes paid by all to achieve a balanced budget. We need to preserve these values so anyone and everyone can thrive with personal and economic freedom to achieve the American Dream.

American Values

We believe the American family is the foundation of civil society and the most important institution for human development. We will continue to safeguard religious freedoms against government control. We believe in providing a world-class education system, both public and private, that helps all students reach their potential. And, we believe education systems should not be exploited to advocate or teach a social or political agenda.

All these values are under attack by the Biden Administration and the California governor and legislature. If we fail to work together, all of these values will soon be more limited or lost entirely. As President Reagan said, “Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction.” We must keep our eye on the prize and work together to retake the House, Senate, and local offices in the 2022 elections to preserve and strengthen these values.
